Today it’s not possible to point your domain in multiple places at once, but that doesn’t mean you have to use a KickoffLabs generated domain for your campaign. If you already have an existing site at your domain that you’d like to keep active while you run your KickoffLabs campaign, you have a few different options:
- Use a subdomain. A subdomain is a new site on your domain. www is the most commonly used subdomain. You can choose any subdomain for your campaign. For example signup.yoursite.com – signup is a subdomain of yoursite.com or launch.yoursite.com – launch is a subdomain of yoursite.com. You can host multiple pages on the same subdomain using paths (ex. launch.yoursite.com/thanks)
Subdomains are our recommended method because we provide the hosting for you, which means that the pages are all managed on our end. - Embed your page directly into your site. An embedded page should have its own devoted page on your website (meaning you should not embed your KickoffLabs page into a page with other content like site headers or sidebars). Existing content on an embedded page usually results in responsiveness issues. We provide you with the code to embed the page directly into your site. To embed a page you need at least a Premium level account.
- Use an AnyForm. If you already have an existing signup form on your site, you can connect it to KickoffLabs to use with your campaign via our AnyForm widget. This turns your existing form into a KickoffLabs form – we take over the form submission and your leads would be submitted to us for participation in your campaign. If you’re using a CRM like MailChimp or Aweber, you can add this integration in your Campaign Settings.Typically when using an AnyForm for your signup form, you would use a subdomain for your thank you page (ex. thanks.yoursite.com)
