Invite existing subscribers with instant signup
Open Pages & forms → Shared settings → Instant signup links in the KickoffLabs dashboard. The page shows examples for ActiveCampaign, AWeber, Beehiiv, Brevo, Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact, Drip, HubSpot, Kit, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, MailerLite, and Omnisend. Copy your provider’s example into an email sent to existing subscribers. The link uses that provider’s merge tags to supply the recipient’s email (and first name where available). Beehiiv’s example supplies email only; its first-name field is publication-specific.
Test with a real subscriber send before sending to your whole list. Previews and test emails often do not fill in merge tags. Send to an address you control as a subscriber, click the delivered link, and verify that the lead appears under Leads with the expected identity. Do not assume an unfilled preview means the link will fail in a real send.
Clicking the link adds or updates the lead in this campaign and uses its default post-signup destination. Check that destination in Shared settings → Sharing & redirects. A forwarded email retains the original recipient’s personalized URL: someone clicking that forwarded copy signs up as the original recipient, not as themselves. Because the link contains an email value in the URL, review whether that is appropriate for your privacy policy and email platform. Avoid placing API keys or sensitive profile data in the URL. This is different from a new visitor filling in a campaign signup form.
