Create a free-download campaign
Use a lead magnet to offer a checklist, guide, or another file after someone joins your campaign. The on-page download is included on Free. Automatic email delivery requires separate email setup and plan access.
Build the draft
Section titled “Build the draft”- Open Campaigns → + New campaign.
- Select Lead magnet → Free Download Lead Magnet.
- Describe the file, its audience, and why someone should download it. Use a clear campaign brief.
- Review the starting features and choose Create my draft.
- In the designer, review Signup and Post-signup. Replace sample copy and images, and remove form fields you do not need.
Connect the download
Section titled “Connect the download”Open Settings → Page → Download after signup. Paste a hosted file URL or select Choose or upload a file. Set a meaningful Button label, such as “Open the camera checklist.” The page cannot publish with a missing download URL.
A generated draft does not contain your actual file. Follow Deliver a digital download after signup to check the link and decide whether to send it by email as well. A public file link can be forwarded.
Review and launch
Section titled “Review and launch”Preview both signup states on desktop and mobile. Check the file button, confirmation, sharing actions, and terms. Review Emails separately: a draft message needs the actual file link and completed sender settings before it delivers your download.
Publish and test, then submit the public form with a fresh test address. Open the download and confirm the lead appears in the correct campaign. Test the email independently if you enabled it.
