Create a leaderboard giveaway
A leaderboard giveaway ranks entrants by points. Decide what earns points, how ties and fraud will be handled, when the contest ends, and how the winner will be selected before launching.
Create the draft
Section titled “Create the draft”- From Campaigns, select + New campaign. Open Giveaways and choose Leaderboard Giveaway. The creator describes this recipe as a points competition for the top spots.
- Describe the prize, audience, end date, and entry rules. Choose a page format and style, then select Create my draft. The draft stays private until published.
- Review the generated page’s prize, countdown, rules, signup form, and post-signup rank. Remove placeholder content and correct any claims that do not match your contest.
The recipe proposes a points leaderboard, extra actions, an end date, winner checks, rules, and signup/share links. These are starting settings, not a substitute for reviewing the draft.
Configure scoring and launch
Section titled “Configure scoring and launch”Open Scoring & actions to set base signup and referral points and review any active actions. Check Rewards if you promise milestones in addition to leaderboard placement. In Campaign settings, set the end date, timezone, and whether signup should stop at the deadline. Review Emails before enabling messages.
Use Preview to check the page before and after signup. Publish it, run Publish & test, and complete a separate visitor signup. Test a referral or action and confirm the resulting score and rank in Leads. When the contest ends, use Pick a winner from campaign Overview and check eligibility and fraud status before awarding a prize.
Older pages may use a classic leaderboard block. See the classic-editor instructions if that is the editor your page opens.
