Fix a stale Facebook share preview
KickoffLabs dashboard stores campaign-wide share details in Pages & forms → Shared settings → Sharing. A hosted page can also have its own share title, description, and image in Manage → Page settings. Save the intended settings and publish the current page before testing.
Open the exact public URL that visitors share and inspect its page metadata. A custom-domain URL, KickoffLabs URL, and external host page can have different previews. For an external page, edit the host site’s Open Graph metadata. Then use Meta’s Sharing Debugger to inspect and refresh the public URL. If the debugger shows old content, confirm the published page and image URL; if it shows correct content, allow social caches to update. Test a fresh share rather than judging by a previously posted card.
