Connect KickoffLabs to Zapier
Use Zapier when you want new KickoffLabs leads, referral data, tags, or campaign activity to flow into another tool without writing code.
Common examples:
- Add new leads to a CRM, email platform, spreadsheet, or Slack channel.
- Trigger internal follow-up when someone joins a campaign.
- Sync referral and campaign fields into another marketing workflow.
Before you start: Open your KickoffLabs campaign, go to Setup → Integrations → Zapier, and keep your Campaign ID and API Key handy. You’ll need them when Zapier asks you to connect KickoffLabs.
Connect KickoffLabs to Zapier
Section titled “Connect KickoffLabs to Zapier”- From your KickoffLabs campaign dashboard, select Setup → Integrations.

- Select the Zapier integration.

- Log in to your Zapier account, or create one if you do not already have one.

- Choose the app you want to connect to KickoffLabs. You can search for the app or choose Create Zap and configure the workflow manually.

-
Configure the Zap:
- Trigger: KickoffLabs.
- Action: The destination app you want to update.
- Optional: Zapier’s AI builder can help draft a workflow. A prompt like “Send new KickoffLabs leads to [app name]” is a good starting point.

- Open the Trigger step and connect your KickoffLabs account and campaign.

- Enter the KickoffLabs Campaign ID and API Key from your campaign’s Zapier integration page. After you continue, Zapier should return you to the Zap setup screen.

Map fields in your destination app
Section titled “Map fields in your destination app”After KickoffLabs is connected, Zapier walks you through the destination app setup. The exact fields vary by app, but the pattern is usually the same:
- Choose the destination app and event. For example, when sending KickoffLabs leads to MailerLite, choose an event like Create or Update Subscriber.

- Authorize the destination app and select Continue.

- Map KickoffLabs fields into the destination fields. Email is required for most lead/subscriber workflows.

-
Test the Zap with a real or test lead. Confirm the lead appears in the destination app with the expected email, name, referral, and campaign fields.
-
Turn the Zap on when the test succeeds.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”If a Zap test does not work:
- Confirm the Campaign ID and API Key came from the same campaign you are testing.
- Submit a fresh test lead after connecting the Zap.
- Check whether the destination app requires email, list, tag, or consent fields.
- Re-test after changing field mappings.
- Capture the Zapier error message before contacting support.
