Test campaign emails

Last reviewed: 2026-09-25

Open a campaign and select Emails. Expand Automatic reply, Verification email, or the relevant reward email to edit its subject and message. Use the visual toolbar or Edit HTML source to review formatting.

  • Replace sample copy with the actual offer and links. A generated download email needs your file link.
  • Use email placeholders for the lead’s name, personal link, points, and other supported values.
  • Review Sender & compliance: from name, reply-to address, postal address, and unsubscribe footer.
  • Check the message’s enabled state and plan access. Saved copy and sending status are separate; writing a message does not guarantee it is sending.

Save the intended message. If template validation rejects it, correct the indicated placeholder or markup and save again.

Where Send test is available, enter an address you control in Test email address and select Send test. The test uses the subject and body currently in the editor. It does not replace saving your changes for future campaign sends.

Open the received email on desktop and mobile. Check the subject, sender, spacing, images, links, and unsubscribe footer. Test messages are useful for layout, but they cannot prove that a real lead’s values or reward threshold are correct.

Before launch, submit a signup using an address you control and verify the expected automatic reply. If verification is enabled, complete that step and check the resulting personal link. Test reward messages with an eligible test lead when those emails are part of your campaign.

If a message stays off, check plan access, its enable switch, and missing sender details before troubleshooting delivery. Email delivery troubleshooting has the next checks.
