Use the Share page screen

Last reviewed: 2026-10-17

Share page is a screen for the campaign creator, not a new page for visitors or a signup-source type. It shows one hosted page’s status, URL, and ways to put that page in front of people.

  • Select Done in the page designer. This opens Share page whether the page is a private draft or already live; Done does not publish anything.
  • On a page’s first successful publish, the designer opens Share page automatically. For later publishes, the designer stays open and shows Copy link and Share & embed in a confirmation; select Share & embed or Done to open the screen.
  • From the campaign, open Pages & forms, then the hosted page’s ⋯ → Share page action. Popups and widgets use Install code instead.

The card shows the page name, publishing status, and address. A private Draft has a planned URL, but nothing is public there yet; the Embed on your site tab opens first. Select Publish page when ready. If the page is Publishing, allow it to finish; it continues if you leave and the screen checks for completion. A Live page has a working public URL and Copy link, along with social share buttons. Use the open-link control to verify what visitors see.

If you see Your edits are saved, not live, the link still opens the previously published version; select Publish changes to release the new design. If publishing fails, check the error and use Try again when available. A previously live page can remain available at the earlier version even if an update fails. If a page is being taken offline, wait for the operation to finish rather than circulating its link.

  • More ways to share appears for a live URL. It offers the page’s QR code with Download PNG, a shortcut to Set up instant signup links, and a link preview when one is available. To configure the preview, use Edit link preview or the page’s Page settings → Sharing.
  • Embed on your site shows install steps and code even before the page is published. The embedded page starts appearing when it is published; Sizing and more options opens the full embed setup. Leads from the embed enter the same campaign.
  • Use your own domain shows the current address and a custom-domain example. Free accounts see a Paid label and a plans link; on eligible paid accounts, use Connect a domain or Manage domains as shown. Connect a custom domain for DNS and setup steps.

The screen also suggests campaign next steps such as email, rewards, actions, or an entry deadline, depending on the campaign. Campaign settings take effect when saved; changing the page design still requires publishing. Before sending traffic, run the campaign signup test and then submit the public form separately.
