Send campaign lead alerts to Slack

Last reviewed: 2026-09-23

A Slack incoming webhook lets KickoffLabs send campaign lead alerts to a Slack channel. Create the incoming webhook in the Slack workspace and copy its URL. Treat the URL as a secret: anyone holding it may be able to post to that channel.

  1. In KickoffLabs, open the campaign and go to Leads → Lead delivery.
  2. In Team notifications, paste the https://hooks.slack.com/ URL into Slack incoming-webhook URL.
  3. Select Save notifications. KickoffLabs rejects URLs outside Slack’s incoming-webhook host.
  4. Submit a new test signup and check the Slack channel for the alert.

The same card controls Notification recipients, Digest schedule, and Email me for every new lead. These email settings are separate from the Slack webhook. A saved URL confirms the campaign setting; only a test alert confirms that Slack delivery works. If no alert arrives, check the webhook’s channel and status in Slack, then inspect the campaign’s test signup.

Create the destination URL using Slack incoming webhook instructions. Keep the webhook URL private and send a test alert.

Need help? Email support@kickofflabs.com with your campaign URL, the time of a test signup, and any error. Do not email the webhook URL.
